Hello there! I am Maria Kathleen Villanueva, a Filipina-American marketing & communications specialist.

Navigating America as a first-generation immigrant, I aim to champion historically marginalized populations through cross-cultural leadership and inclusive storytelling. I bridge my passion for global development and community through grassroots advocacy and out-of-the-box solutions.

Currently, I work as a Digital Project Specialist at the Center for Digital Editing, where I develop branding and websites to promote digital humanities.

When I’m not scribbling my thoughts, you can find me partaking in a photo walk, watching travel vlogs on YouTube, and collecting mementos (receipts, dried flowers, tags, you name it).
